Kim Blyth is a family photographer that creates timeless, heirloom photography rooted in genuine connection. Each image is carefully crafted to capture the beauty, emotion, and lasting story of your family.

A little bit about me:

I’m Kim, I live in beautiful Beverly, MA with my husband, two children, and sweet black lab, Eilidh.

I’m happiest when I'm standing by the ocean, warm sunshine on my face, camera in hand — but when I’m not photographing families, I love gardening, travel adventures, perusing interior design blogs, and lots and lots of coffee!

After years of working as a designer in the advertising industry, I decided it was time to pursue my dream of being a family photographer. I love what I do, and feel so lucky that you’ve taken the time to learn more about me.

Some fun facts about me:

  • I have lived in New York City, The Bahamas, and Australia.

  • I was once on MTV’s TLR Live
    and interviewed Sugar Ray!

  • I am obsessed with interior design & love helping friends design their beloved homes.

What Makes Me Different

Editorial Approach

I approach every session with an editorial eye, creating images that feel effortless, timeless, and deeply personal. My work is rooted in authenticity, with a focus on subtle emotion and meaningful connection. Each photograph is thoughtfully composed to tell your family’s story in a way that feels refined yet natural—images designed to live on, cherished for generations.

Distinctive Experience

My background in advertising and design, combined with my artistic training, shapes the way I see and photograph families. With a BFA in design and photography and a minor in Art History, I bring an intuitive eye for detail, composition, and storytelling to every session. Having lived and traveled throughout Australia, the UK, New York City, and the Bahamas, my work is influenced by a unique perspective—resulting in imagery that feels refined, meaningful, and timeless.

Family Intuition

As a mother of two, I understand family dynamics on a deeply personal level. I gently guide each session with patience, calm energy, and thoughtful direction—allowing children to be themselves while creating space for genuine connection. The experience is relaxed and unrushed, resulting in beautifully natural photographs that capture your family’s bond with ease. These are images that feel lived-in, emotional, and enduring—your legacy, artfully preserved.
